Located at the southern tip of the Peninsula, Johor Bahru is the state capital of Johor Darul Takzim. Johor Bahru is connected to Singapore by road and rail via a modern causeway. It is also the Peninsula’s Southern Gateway, consisting of a diverse ethnic mix of races, heritage attractions, colourful culture, delectable local cuisine and exciting recreational activities. Popular with Singaporeans, it has landmarks such as;
Grand Palace – With its distinct Anglo-Malay architecture, the museum houses priceless treasures of the Royal Collection.
Dataran Bandaraya – Raised slightly above ground, it comprises a clock tower that faces a series of fountains and an open lawn that has been a popular venue for outdoor performances and events.
